FAQs
Where are you located?
645 S. Lincoln St, Dallas, NC 28034
Do I need a reservation?
Yes, Reservations are required for boarding your pet. Along with a $25 non-refundable deposit per pet that goes towards the total of the stay to ensure their spot. For daycare, walk-ins are welcomed but are accepted based on capacity. To ensure your pet gets a day of play, please reserve a daycare spot by giving us a call!
What are the requirements for my dog to attend Zoomies Adventure Pet Resort?
All dogs must be up to date on their Rabies, Distemper, Parvo & Lepto, and Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccinations. We also highly recommend flea & tick prevention, as we are in a wooded area and your fur-babies will be outside.
Once your dog hits 6 months of age your pet must be spayed or neutered to board or attend day camp at Zoomies APR.
-> If interested in early puppy socialization please click on the Zoomies Dog Training Academy tab for more info <-
*If your dog is under 6 months of age they are still eligible for an evaluation and can be done prior to boarding/day camp.
We are an off leash, fully interactive play facility. All dogs must be able to interact safely with other dogs and staff. We reserve the right to cease day camp or boarding services at any time for behavioral and safety issues.
All dogs must pass their ‘Evaluation Day’ before day camp or boarding. Clients interested only in grooming do not need to complete an evaluation but must still provide proof of rabies.
Females in heat will not be accepted due to safety concerns.
Does the facility administer medication(s)?
Yes! We do have employees that are experienced and able to administer medication. By law it is required that each medication comes in a prescription bottle with the accurate dosage listed on the label, as provided by you vet.
For example: If you give your pet Trazadone for thunderstorms or anxiety, the bottle needs to state “As Needed.” We are not allowed to administer medication outside of what the vet has directed on the bottle. Please have your vet send us an email with a dosage change approval, or provide you with a new bottle with the updated dosage.
There is a $1 fee per night for medication administration.
What are the feeding requirements at the facility?
All pet food MUST be individually bagged for the length of your pets stay, per the NC Department of Agriculture.
-NO open food bags/containers
-NO original food bags
-NO BIG containers (unless stay is 2 weeks or more)
All home-made food and raw diets MUST be in safe enclosed containers or vacuum sealed.
For Example: If your pet is staying for 2 nights and eats twice a day, you will need to provide 4 separate baggies with their food portion in each.
You are allowed to bring a large ziploc bag and provide the feeding schedule to the facility.
For Example: If your pet is staying for a week you can bring one, two, or three large ziploc bags of their food. Provide the measurements to the facility (ex: 1 cup AM & 1 cup PM) and it will be administered as such.
We recommend overfilling instead of underfilling, just to make sure your pet(s) are covered their entire stay.
There is a $5 bagging fee per bag, if we have to do it.
